The Gimel Device
The Gimel Device is a standalone hardware solution specifically designed to interact with DNA analyzers, processing both genomic sequences and STRs. Using proprietary algorithms and anonymization protocols that ensure Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZNP), the Gimel Device transforms genomic data into the unique Gimel ID.
To facilitate data confidentiality and protect against cyberattacks, the Gimel Device operates entirely offline, requiring no connection to external networks or the internet.
Once the Gimel ID, i.e. the distinctive identity is generated and validated, it is securely transferred to the individual’s Gimel Wallet* and Bespoke G-Wallet with no cybersecurity risks from network access or similar threats. Importantly, the Gimel Device does not store any DNA, STR, or personal data after generating the Gimel ID without explicit consent.
The Gimel Device can only be operated by authorized personnel in laboratories certified by the Gimel ID team, ensuring the highest standards of security and compliance. The Gimel Device can only be installed by authorized personnel in laboratories which have been previously certified by the Gimel ID team.
