Gimel Wallet*

The Gimel Wallet* is a digital wallet for end users for everyday use. It enables its users to prove their digital identity, carry out digital transactions and sign legally valid electronic contracts. Its main functions are:

  • Security: The Gimel Wallet* is the world’s most secure ID wallet, as it builds on unique biometric features that go beyond the high security standards already prescribed by the regulation and provide special protection for the privacy of the user.
  • Storage of proof of identity: Gimel Wallet* can store official documents such as ID cards or driving licenses.
  • Digital transactions: It enables confirmation of identity for online transactions and electronic signature of contracts.
  • Access to online services: It simplifies access to various online services by providing a secure and trusted digital identity.
  • Convenience: The Gimel Wallet* makes it possible to store and use important documents directly on the smartphone.
  • Less dependence on physical documents: Gimel Wallet* reduces the need for physical IDs and cards.

Possible uses for the Gimel Wallet* include:

  • Online shopping: proof of identity when shopping on the internet
  • Banking: opening a bank account and carrying out transactions
  • Travel: storage and use of travel tickets and boarding passes
  • Education: storage and transmission of educational certificates

The Gimel Wallet* will be available to end users free of charge. It contributes to digital inclusion by enabling everyone, regardless of their financial situation, to access digital services.

The Gimel Wallet is based on the Gimel ID and its particularly secure biometrics, which allows it to continuously monitor risks (theft, misuse, etc.). The Gimel Wallet offers the security feature DefconG for this purpose. DefconG Arrow
