Proprietary Credentials

The Gimel Wallet is a digital wallet for everyday use. It provides for several standard credentials such as:

  1. ID card: a digital document containing basic information such as name, date of birth and nationality
  2. Driving licence: A digital document containing information about the user’s driving licence
  3. Health card: A digital document containing medical information and insurance data
  4. Degree certificates: Digital degrees and certificates that prove the user’s academic achievements
  5. Access credentials: Digital cards or tokens that grant access to certain areas or services
  6. Digital signatures: Functions that enable documents to be signed securely

These credentials are designed to ensure that the Gimel Wallet works consistently and is interoperable in all EU member states.

In addition to standard credentials, the Bespoke G-Wallet offers the option of adding proprietary credentials that can be specifically adapted to the needs of organizations, companies or individual users. Here are some examples of such proprietary credentials:

  • Employee ID cards – Digital ID cards for employees with specific roles and access rights within a company.
  • Customer cards – Digital customer cards offering special discounts and offers for loyal customers.
  • Membership cards – Digital membership cards for clubs, associations or organizations that prove membership status and privileges.
  • Passports and visas – Digital versions of passports or visa data for international travel.
  • Educational certificates and diplomas – Specific certificates or diplomas that prove special training or qualifications (beyond standard credentials).
  • Access control – Digital keys or tokens to access secure areas or IT systems (beyond standard credentials).
  • Payment – Digital wallets or tokens for internal and external payment transactions within a company.
  • Health data – Advanced health data that contains special information for specific medical applications or programs.
  • License certificates – Digital certificates for professional licences or certificates required for certain activities.
  • Project data and credentials – Special credentials that contain information aboutcurrent or completed projects and their details.

These proprietary credentials can be customized and integrated into the Bespoke G-Wallet according to specific requirements and applications. They provide flexibility and enable organizations to customize the wallet to their specific needs.
