Gimel Business Model

At Gimel, we are regularly asked how we make money:

  • We do not charge end users any fees for using their verified identity and we do not sell user data for advertising purposes.

So how do we generate revenue? It’s quite simple:

  • Users can store their data in the Gimel Wallet. When they use this data to identify themselves online with one of our business partners, we receive a fee from that partner.
  • Users can control their AI agents with the Gimel protocol. When they use this protocol to facilitate AI (trans-) actions with a business partners, we receive a fee from that partner.
  • Users retain full control: every time they want to share data with a Gimel ID business partner, they have to confirm the data transfer.
  • We also develop and operate individual solutions for our partners in an ‘service as-a-software’ model, including AI governance. In this case, we bill our services directly to the clients. With our products, our partners can provide their eco-system with their own offers for AI control and a secure identity, login or digital signing.

In addition, we advise our partners and provide infrastructures for creating and testing individual digital use cases.
