eID Upgrade
Our Gimel ID is built on DNA data, i.e. it leverages the genetic footprint. This allows us to identify a human among 8 billion individuals on earth. For doing such proof of personhoods (PoP), we build on the verified national identity (such as eID) and upgrade it onto a global framework. This means a global, DNA-based identifier gets attached to the national identity by means of a premium security protocol, which we call “Gimel ID”. The PoP thus allows us to manage the security of national identities (like the eID) on a global scale.
The upgrade of one`s identity is being performed by our Gimel Device, which is being operated in labs or hospitals, i.e. in a highly regulated environment. This is to protect your data, while leveraging DNA information. Therefore, no DNA data are leaving the lab. Once the PoP has been performed, the upgraded identity, Gimel ID, can be hosted by the Gimel Wallet* or Bespoke G-Wallet, dependent on customer type (B2C versus B2B).
