Gimel ID API

Gimel ID can be hosted either by its own Gimel Wallet, PKI-based NFC-card or by any other third-party wallet, which complies with relevant standards and regulation. For third-party wallets, we will offer our Gimel ID as an Application Programming Interface (API) to facilitate.

Our API is like a bridge that allows third-party wallets and our Gimel ID to communicate with each other. It’s a set of rules and protocols that define how data can be exchanged between various software components. Our API hence enables third-party providers to verify a most-secure user’s identity without directly exchanging sensitive information. Main functions include:

• Identity verification: Checks a user’s identity using encrypted data.
• Proof of Personhood: Connects with a global user basis of Gimel ID to prove a user`s identity on a global scale.
• Privacy: Ensures that only the necessary data for verification is disclosed (e.g. age verification without date of birth).
• Interoperability: Can be integrated into various wallet solutions, both your own and third-party solutions. And can interoperate with any third party as well as relying party, which meets corresponding standards.
